Haryana Update: Kuortane Games Neeraj Chopra: टोक्यो ओलिंपिक के गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट नीरज चोपड़ा ने सीजन का अपना पहला गोल्ड मेडल जीत लिया है। फिनलैंड के कुओर्ताने गेम्स में इवेंट के लिए मुश्किल परिस्थिति में नीरज ने यह मेडल अपने नाम किया। हालांकि वह अपने पर्सनल रिकॉर्ड को पीछे नहीं छोड़ने में असफल रहे।
 

Kuortane Games Neeraj Chopra: Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has won his first gold medal of the season. Neeraj won this medal in difficult circumstances for the event at the Kuortane Games in Finland. However, he failed to not leave behind his personal record.

कुओर्ताने (फिनलैंड): भारतीय स्टार एथलीट नीरज चोपड़ा ने टोक्यो ओलिंपिक के बाद पहला गोल्ड मेडल जीत लिया है। फिनलैंड के कुओर्ताने गेम्स में जैवलिन थ्रोअर नीरज चोपड़ा ने मुश्किल परिस्थिति में मेडल जीता। बारिश की वजह से फील्ड पर काफी पानी था, जिसकी वजह से नीरज एक बार फिसल भी गए। लेकिन 86.89 मीटर के थ्रो के साथ उन्होंने गोल्ड मेडल अपने नाम किया।

Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra won the medal in a difficult situation at the Kuortane Games in Finland. There was a lot of water on the field due to rain, due to which Neeraj slipped once. But with a throw of 86.89 meters, he won the gold medal.

तीसरी कोशिश में गिरे
फील्ड पर काफी पानी था और इसी वजह से नीरज चोपड़ा तीसरी कोशिश में गिर गए। थ्रो करने के बाद उनका पांव फिसल गया और वह लाइन से बाहर निकल गए। जिसकी वजह से उस थ्रो की गिनती भी नहीं हुआ। हालांकि इससे वह चोटिल नहीं हुए। अगले महीने कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स का आयोजन होना है और नीरज उसमें मेडल के पक्के दावेदार माने जा रहे हैं।

There was a lot of water on the field and due to this Neeraj Chopra fell on the third try. After throwing, his foot slipped and he went out of line. Because of which that throw did not even count. He did not get injured though. The Commonwealth Games are to be held next month and Neeraj is considered to be a strong contender for the medal.

पहले प्रयास को पीछे नहीं छोड़ सके
नीरज चोपड़ा ने पहले ही प्रयास में 86.69 मीटर का थ्रो किया था। उनका दूसरा थ्रो भी फाउल चला गया था। वे इस इवेंट में भी इससे लंबा थ्रो नहीं कर सके। इससे पहले इसी महीने पावो नूरमी गेम्स में 89.30 मीटर का थ्रो करके नेशनल रिकॉर्ड बनाया था। फैंस को उम्मीद थी कि वह अपना रिकॉर्ड तोड़ेंगे लेकिन इस बार ऐसा नहीं हो सका। 89.30 मीटर का थ्रो करने के बाद भी पावो नूरमी में नीरज को सिल्वर से संतोष करना पड़ा था।

Couldn't get past the first attempt
Neeraj Chopra had thrown 86.69 meters in the very first attempt. His second throw also went foul. He could not throw longer than this in this event as well. Earlier this month, he set a national record with a throw of 89.30 meters at the Pavo Nurmi Games. Fans hoped that he would break his record but this time it could not happen. Even after throwing 89.30m, Neeraj had to be content with silver in Pavo Nurmi.
 

2012 ओलिंपिक चैंपियन को पछाड़ा
नीरज चोपड़ा ने 2012 लंदन ओलिंपिक के गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट त्रिनिदाद और टोबैगो के केशोर्न वालकॉट को पीछे छोड़कर गोल्ड मेडल जीता। वालकॉट 86.64 मीटर का ही थ्रो कर सके। उनके नाम रियो ओलिंपिक में ब्रॉन्ज मेडल भी था। भारत के ही संदीप चौधरी 60.35 मीटर का ही थ्रो कर सके। वह 8वें नंबर पर रहे। खराब मौसम होने के बाद भी नीरज का इवेंट देखने के लिए काफी दर्शक पहुंचे थें।

Defeated the 2012 Olympic Champion
Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal beating 2012 London Olympic gold medalist Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad and Tobago. Walcott could throw only 86.64 meters. He also had a bronze medal in the Rio Olympics. Sandeep Chaudhary of India could only throw 60.35 meters. He was ranked 8th. Despite the bad weather, a lot of spectators had arrived to see Neeraj's event.
