India would spend 1.6 lakh crore on 156 Prachanda Attack Helicopters and 97 Tejas MK1A, Now Indian Army's Strength Increase

Actually, the Defense Acquisition Council has given its approval to buy 156 combat helicopters from Prachanda and 97 more Tejas aircraft. The government's decision will increase the power of the Indian Air Force. We would like to inform you that both of these aircraft are domestically developed. The estimated value of this agreement is Rs 1.1 lakh crore.
The Indian Air Force is getting fighter jets designated Mark 1-A, and the Army and Air Force are getting helicopters. A few other agreements have also been approved by the Defense Procurement Council. An estimated Rs 2 lakh crore is its overall value. If these agreements are approved, this will be the biggest order that Indian manufacturers have ever received.

We would like to notify you that in February 2021, the Defense Ministry and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited reached an agreement for the Indian Air Force to purchase 83 Tejas MK-1A aircraft. The sum of Rs 48 thousand crores was paid for this contract. The Indian Air Force will now be able to purchase 180 Tejas aircraft that are homegrown, thanks to this new fleet.
With this, the Indian government is prepared to approve the Indian Navy's plan to construct a second domestic aircraft carrier at an estimated cost of Rs 40 thousand crore.
